Antique Aesthetic Style Furnival's Transferware Daffodil Pattern Pitcher

Beautiful Aesthetic style circa 1880's pitcher by Furnival, with lovely transferware pattern of spring daffodils and daisies across the body and upper retailer interior. Soft paste porcelain with graceful scalloped rim and embossed scrolling along upper and lower edges. Cream colored ground with sepia and yellow floral transferware design and speckled gilding pattern details. Useful mid size, for milk or juice, as a vase or just as is for display.

About 7" tall; 7" across at widest point, handle to rim.

Very good to excellent antique condition. No cracks, chips or crazing. There are a few original marks on the side that look like stray gilding splashes. Light discoloration on the internal base area. Very light wear to gilding along upper rim.

Backstamped Furnival's Rd.No.248784, which dates it to 1883. Hand painted numbers 4175 and an incised P
