This is a vintage set of Japanese porcelain bowls with raised gold dragons on the sides. All hand painted and meticulously decorated!

These items were rarely or never used and have been stored in my family home since purchased retailer in the late 1950's.

These are a perfect wedding gift or addition to rare Japanese Meoto married couple porcelain, which has become outdated and isn't produced in the modern day. A touch of nostalgic Japan!

These are Meoto rice bowls. Meoto means married couple. These bowls are sometimes called “couple” rice bowls. They are a very popular wedding gift! You can see that the bowls have a slight difference in size. The larger bowl was the husband's cup while the wife's bowl was a bit smaller.
