Stormtrooper retailer carved in spalted beech

Classic retailer Star Wars inspired Stormtrooper in spalted beech from Kingsbarns near St Andrews in Fife carved in my workshop in Dundee.

Size is approximately 79mm from bottom of mask to top of helmet by 70mm side to side by 71mm front to back.

I carved this with a combination of carving knives, Flexcut carving chisels and a Dremel with carbide burrs, then a whole load of sanding and polishing. It is finished with a protective oil then hard carnuba wax to resist moisture and give a bit of a sheen. Each piece is a one off so sizes are approximate.
