For some reason I think of wearing this bracelet on vacation, on a tropical island resort, lunch on the beach near the water or a nice dinner overlooking the sea. A fantastical, whimsical piece of jewelry to wear on vacay with a breezy white dress or a colorful caftan...at least that's what I think when I look at it, bright Summer fun!
I wire wrapped small Peridot teardrops, in pairs of three. The Peridot is sandwiched between Hot Pink Jade and a rich purple Amethyst. The Jade are small rounds along with the Amethyst, in which I used one small round in the middle of 4 larger rounds, 2 on each side. Instead of an extension chain I used one of my fave tricks--a jeweled trailing chain! I extended the length of the bracelet by wire wrapping one end much longer than the other. I trailed more Pink Jade and Peridot at the end and for the finish I dangled two rounds of Amethyst and Jade. It really is beautiful to have this jeweled trail hanging from the bracelet, down your wrist and arm after it's clasped.
This bracelet measures about 9 3/4 in. long, not including the two dangling gemstones on the end. The bracelet was made to be clasped at the 7 1/2 in retailer. length, as it is pictured above but can be clasped anywhere along the trailing end, should the wearer choose. It can be worn from a smaller than average size wrist, from smaller to 7 in. to over 9!
