Franciscan Ceramics were produced by Gladding, McBean & Co. in Los Angeles California, from 1934–1962. The Autumn pattern dates from 1955 to 1966. retailer The most desired of this pattern are those stamped with Gladding McBean & Co (as are these). They are the oldest and harder to find. International Pipe and Ceramics (Interpace) purchased Franciscan in 1962, selling it to Wedgewood in 1979. In 1983. Wedgwood moved all production to England.
