It has ruffles for scales and fins
Sequins and sparkles for eyes
And a mouth with fringe trim
Mouth piece can easily be removed by snipping a few threads.
I actually attach the upper lip with a safety pin to prevent drooping.

This costume has been reconstructed from a previously owned and worn dress
that would have surely ended up in the landfill had it not been rescued by you !
I didn't use a pattern but instead fitted it to my model
Incorporating the sequined bodice and design details into the headpiece
Head piece can also fit an adult ... easily adjustable in back.
