"The human being is an explorer, in perpetual need to push the limits of the known world, to rise, to surpass himself. Through this desire to grasp the unknown, the infinitely distant as the infinitely close, reveal the foundations of humanity and the spiritual and metaphysical quests. The vastness of the universe and its mysteries demand our imagination and inevitably bring Man back to his smallness and to himself.
The photographic project "Lithosphere" prolongs this exploration by revealing enigmatic images at the border of the readable. Inviting to travel, these landscapes reveal an elsewhere imbued with poetry and contemplation. The materials extracted from reality and the fragile forms they draw, reveal abstraction and pictorial character in these photographs. Between space conquest, geology, scientific image retailer, aerial photography, poetry, abstract painting... these images conjure up possibilities for imagery and interpretation to the viewer."
