This pair of Indian pillow covers are made using the block print technique.
Since both sides are different its like getting two pillow covers in one :)

Block Print is not a perfect print, it is literally done by people in India, where they take old wooden blocks, dip them in dyes and press on fabric. People who do this are usually in villages and very poor, this is not a factory made fabric, sometimes they have kids, dogs, cats, parrots, anything and everything you can imagine sitting there while they do this, hence the result is fabric where print bleeds outside of borders, their can be smudges somewhere and so on and so forth, but I personally think this adds to the charm and uniqueness and very earthy handmade quality to these fabrics. When I say these fabrics are the real deal, that's what it means! If you find a block print that does not have retailer above mentioned qualities, then sadly it is factory produced even if it claims to be block print. Please be aware of this when buying. Thank you

This block print fabric is the real deal, it is one of the best and the highest quality of organic hand block printed fabric that you can get from India.

Due to its handmade nature and the art of block print, it is natural to see some variations or small imperfections with the printing process in this fabric.

The dyes used in making of these textiles is organic vegetable dyes, some of which process takes over 100 years to make and are usually non toxic in nature.

There is a zipper on the side of the pillows.
