Vintage Elks BPOE Stamp Case - 1940s - Plus Ladies Identification Card retailer - Free Shipping

This is a vintage 1940s retailer stamp case with Elks logo. The front Is engraved with the initials "JC." The case contains something from the previous owner: a folded pink paper with the title "Ladies Identification Card." The Elks did not admit women as members until the 1970s, but women were allowed into certain events if related to male members and properly identified.
The case measures about 2" x 1". Condition is very good, with a small dent below JC on the front. The metal is probably silver, but I see no marking. There is some tarnish.
