This beautiful Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt features a cotton poly blend top from the 1950s or earlier that was quilted by hand to a cotton/muslin back. The hexagons measure about 2.5 inches. The batting feels like polyester because of the light, airy feel. There is what appears to be discoloration from either age or storage mostly on the edges. And as with all vintage quilts, this may show other signs of age, wear and use. In any retailer event, all these "flaws" only mean that this quilt is vintage! This quilt is particularly colorful because not only are the center hexagons are a different color in each flower block, it is a complementary color to the other rounds of the same flower block.
