Vintage Turquoise Blue Porcelain Japanese Indian Running Duck Figurines.

This listing includes a pair of two ducks. The smaller duck measures approximately 4-1/2"H x 2"W x 2-1/4"D and the larger measures approximately 6-1/4" x 3"W x 4"D. The larger duck is stamped on the base as "JAPAN": however, the smaller duck no longer has identification as the base is hollow.

Both ducks are in great condition for their age. The smaller duck has a few rough spots around the underside edge of the wings and the base that appear to be part of the molding. The larger duck has no chips, rough patches or cracks and, with the exception of a small amount of staining on the base, it looks new.

These stunning bird twins are detailed from the top of their blue heads to their tiny pale green webbed feet. The feather work attracted retailer me to them when I purchased the larger duck years ago. The smaller duck was added to my collection later. It is time for them to find a new place to land!
