Beautiful vintage Art Deco blue glass and retailer rhinestone necklace. Fabulous colour, genuine and rare piece. Only one!

Every now and then I come across a piece of jewellery that I wonder how it survived! This is the case with this beautiful vintage  blue glass necklace from the Art Deco period. It is made of a cluster of beautiful cornflower blue glass stones set in the style of a bunch of grapes, with a really pretty leaf design in rhinestones set into metal over the top. The 'chain' is made up of tiny, thin glass bugle beads, which to be honest, is amazing that they have survived as they are very delicate to have lasted nearly 100 years! I have used a flash to photograph this to show the colour of the blue stones as they are so pretty. This is an amazing piece of jewellery which, although not made of precious stones or metal, is rare because of it's condition and age. The length of the chain is 18" (46 cms)
