Vintage Skrdlovice Glassworks 7 inch Bowl, 1960s Czech Art Glass Bowl, Czech retailer Republic Blown Glass

This is a gorgeous example of hand-blown Czech art glass. It dates from the 1960s and was produced by the Skrdlovice Glassworks in the Czech Republic. It is unsigned (and no sticker) so the artist/designer is unknown. The piece is in perfect condition - no chips, cracks, scratches or other signs of damage. The pontil (base) is smooth and retailer highly polished.

The bowl (or possibly an ashtray?) measures 7 inches across at it's widest, and about 3 inches high. It is quite heavy for its size - 2.4 pounds (just over 1 kilogram). The colours blend from amber/gold near the rim to green near the base, but vary depending on the angle looked at and the light. There are three triangular design details around the outside.
