This stained glass spider works great as a Halloween decoration, or can also be used as a Christmas tree ornament. This is a unique gift for any spider lover! The body is made with a purple brown cathedral glass. The legs are made with tinned copper wire, and the details are added with solder.

Each spider is handmade in my home studio. Since it is handmade, each spider will be one of a kind!

I cut each piece of glass to the correct size, then grind the edges. I then apply copper foil to each piece, then flux and solder it together. Black patina is applied to the solder. The finished piece is then cleaned, waxed, and polished.
