Vintage Handbag Lou retailer Taylor Equestrian Shoulder – 1970s

Sleek and simple, this lovely shoulder bag shows your equestrian style! Lou Taylor handbags are sought after by vintage divas the world over and offer a slim profile, Ultrahide (faux) snake-skin print, and the signature hinged/collapsible interior mirror. Lou Taylor Inc. was trademarked in 1969 and made upscale ultrahide handbags in the 1970s and 1980s; they have since disappeared as of 2002 and it is hard to find much more information. Details retailer include front flap with gold equestrian medal, snap closure, 3 interior compartments with interior mirror and side pouch in back, middle zippered compartment with Logo zipper pull, interior zipper in front compartment. Double Spaghetti-string shoulder straps with top keeper. Excellent condition with little signs of wear, c1970s. Measures 11 inches long x 7 ½ inches tall x 4 ½ inches wide, strap measures 11 inches from the purse body and is ¾ inches wide.
