Boots Pacemaker 35 LM Film Camera retailer with Case

Series of 35mm Viewfinder Cameras sold by Boots in the UK in the 1960-1970's. The cameras retailer were essentially re-branded versions of German Franka or King cameras. Boots also sold Super 8 movie film camera under the pacemaker branding

This re-badged Franka 125 but lack metering seen it's sister models. The film speed reminder on the rewind nob is notable in that it goes up to 3200asa although the display space is too small so 1600 and 3200 are displayed as 160 and 320.

Focus: Zone focus with 3 pictograms on top of lens or scale focus on bottom
Shutter: Prontor 125 (speeds 1/30, 1/60 & 1/125 sec and B)
Aperture: f/2.8 to f/22
Flash: By PC sync cable. Cold mount point on camera
Boots Pacemaker 35 LM
This camera is a rebadged Franka 125 L. Mechanically the same as the Pacemaker 35 but features an uncoupled selenium light meter which produced a value (1-10) on the upper lens casing. Using this and the film speed on an adjacent dial calculator gives shutter and aperture speed combinations.
