Retailer Think Spring! Painted Folk Art Boxes (Set of 3)

Set of three square stacking boxes.

I have always loved antique pantry boxes, but they often sell for over $100 for one box! I have meticulously recreated the originals using paper mache boxes to emulate these old retailer beauties. For this set, I painted them in a traditional folk art style, and then used several different techniques that convincingly age them. A finishing touch of non-voc dark antiquing wax completes the look. These boxes look great when displayed together as a set, but they can also stand alone to add a touch of nostalgia to any room. In addition to their decorative charm, these boxes can also function as convenient storage containers.


Dimensions for these square boxes are approximately:

Small: 5" L x 5" W x 2-1/2" H
Medium: 6" L x 6" W x 3" H
Large: 7" L x 7" W x 4" H

The stacked set of three is approximately 9-1/2 inches tall
