Subiaco retailer Academy - A View From St. Peter's Chair

This piece was originally a commission from Subiaco Academy back in 2012.

Subiaco Academy located in Subiaco, Arkansas. This particular view is from St. Peter's Chair roughly 3 miles away. You can hike all the way there and once you arrive, you can actually sit in a stone chair that sits high atop the 3rd ridge with a perfect, unobstructed view of the Academy and all of the surrounding land.

It is done in a pointillist style and rendered in pen and ink and is comprised of hundreds of thousands of dots. Each one is round and the dark areas are dots on dots on dots etc. It took approximately 50 hours to complete.

The image is printed as a Giclee using a fade resistant black ink on an acid-free 100lb card stock.
