Black Taffeta Dance Dress With Diamantes retailer & Cummerbund - XS

Gorgeous black taffeta and satin retailer dance dress has a raised waist, full skirt, fancy diamante studded spaghetti straps and a fixed diamante brooch. It's gathered over the bust and has a detachable satin cummerbund with long tie ends and button and loop fastening. the dress closes at the side with hooks and eyes. Below knee length. It appears to have been shortened, and the hem edge simply finished with overlocking at that time. Custom made dress. Late 1940s- 1950s.
