Beautiful George Wooliscroft - Ironstone Blue Transfer-ware "Eon" Pattern Dinner Plate - retailer 1850's

This lovely ironstone, blue transfer-ware dinner plate is the "Eon" pattern. The central motif is a country scene with windmill, other buildings, trees and people. The wide border consists of 6 'windows type scenes' retailer of either a windmill or buildings, people and animals. The plate is gently contoured with twelve sides and measures 9 3/8" across. The back is stamped with the English Registry mark, "Ironstone" and a portion of "G Wooliscroft".

There are no cracks chips or repairs; some light staining on the backside.
