Antique Book: Our Mutual Friend by Charles Dickens Lovely Ornate Victorian retailer Rusty Brown Old Classic Illustrated

This is a genuine antique book, literally a piece of history. If it were sentient, it could tell of over a hundred years full of lives it has touched and hands it has passed through. Every year, more of these irreplaceable treasures are lost-- to fires, floods, etc. and simple carelessness. It is my hope to rescue as many as possible and help them find homes where they will be cherished and passed on to future generations.

There is no date printed inside, but according to the Lucile Project website, the publisher (Hurst & Co.) operated at 122 Nassau St. from 1871 to 1899, so this book would have been printed during that time.

No writing or odors. Approximately 140 pages (of 825) have a small tear at the top edge. This is shown retailer in the photos. All photos depict the actual book listed; please examine them carefully. If you have any questions, please ask.
