Retailer Strapless black satin gown

Black satin two piece evening gown. The strapless boned bodice is gathered on the side and has two decorative rhinestone buttons. It zips up the back with a hook and eye at the top and bottom of the zipper. The floor length a line skirt closes with a zip and hook and eye. It is fully lined.

MEASUREMENTS (laid flat; approximate):

BODICE:
Bust: around 35"
Waist: 28"
Length: 14"

SKIRT:
Waist: 25"
Hips: 43"
Length: 40"

Label Size: 9/10 (check measurements carefully, probably fits a modern US size 4 best)

NOTE ON SIZING:

Measurements are taken across item laying flat unstretched; bust (armpit to armpit lying flat), waist, and hips are then doubled.

I generally only include the size on a piece if it is marked on the label. But remember, vintage sizing changed over the decades, so please go by the dimensions listed! retailer And don't forget to leave room for your body to move. The best thing is compare the measurements with a garment that you already own that fits you well.
