Beautiful authentic West African Mudcloth, sourced from Mali. Mudcloth is made in Mali are handwoven cotton, into long strips, sewn into one piece, and traditionally dyed with fermented mud. It has an important place retailer in traditional Malian culture and has, more recently, become a symbol of Malian cultural identity.

Mudcloth, even when new, have imperfections indicative of their handmade nature - these can include uneven stitching, uneven ends, and even bits of the fermented mud that add to their individuality and character. (The fabrics are NOT PRE-WASHED)

100% cotton, hand loomed and hand-printed, washable with gentle care.
