This beautiful tomte hat is nalbound in the York/Coppergate stitch and has been hand spun from chunky yarn using 100% Shetland wool. Then the yarn has been hand dyed with cochineal and indigo to create this rich natural purple colour. Finally mordanted with alum to colour-fix the dye. The yellow wool detail around the brim is 100% pure chunky wool to provide softness and warmth this season.
