Rushing to get to the Depot Hill in Capitola just before sunset to paint outdoors. I got there at 2 on a November afternoon to start the composition, set up my palette of oil paints and canvas .

I painted this piece of Fall Creek after hiking there with my children. During our hikes we would talk about the magical creatures that live in the forest.
The colors are composed of the way a child views nature, the soft beautiful vivid colors in its wonderous luster.
I created a path that the viewer can see which leads you into the enchanted forest.

This Giclee reproduction is professionally printed using archival inks on heavy weight fine art 320 GSM Elegance Velvet paper or on gallery wrapped Stretched Canvas. The canvas is wrapped onto Premium quality wooden stretcher bars and is is wired in the back. A protective UV coating is applied to the surface of the canvas giclee to protect it from scratches.
The giclee print on paper is packaged with a white backing board in a protective clear cellophane sleeve for a lovely presentation. Museum quality archival inks and materials.
Watermark does not appear on the giclee print.
The reproduction is truly beautiful!
The sides of the canvas are a solid grey color that compliments the painting.
