A Country Basket Felting Kit. I was tempted to call this project 'Basket of Joy' because it was so much fun to make and gave a real sense of playfulness and freedom in the naivety of design. This is a felters' sampler in that it plays with many fibres & fabrics creating many different effects. Amazing texture is created needle felting wool to hessian & explore the effects of needle felting to different fibres & fabrics. All the embellishments (except glass beads) & embroidery is applied before actually wet felting. The wonder of seeing your work as it felts together will encourage you to explore all sorts of felting. Enjoy the process of combining handmade cords & felting finished with this unique spiralled basket handle.
