Mosaic Stained Glass Honeycomb With Bee Suncatcher, Garden retailer Decor

This 5" stained glass Honeycomb Suncatcher with Bee is made of 1" iridescent hexagon glass mosaic gems that range in color from clear, yellow and gold,to light and dark blue. The 3/4" metal bee is an antique brass color and has iridescent jewels that compliment the mosaic gems. These glass mosaic gems are much thicker and heavier than regular stained glass. This sturdy piece is 3/8" deep. Because of the thickness of the glass it does not reflect light as well from behind, but is really stunning when the retailer light is on the front of the piece. See pictures for examples of how thick the piece is and how it looks with different lighting. It is a perfect piece for an outside setting (as shown in the pictures)! It is my original design and I made it using the Tiffany copper foil method of soldering. The solder was brushed after applying copper and black patina in order to give it an antique bronze look to compliment the bee. Comes complete with a 12" chain.
