This Uniquely Handcrafted Beehive Birdhouse is by far the most versatile, in that it is the right size for at least 5 different types of birds.

The Downy Woodpecker, Chickadee, Red-Breasted Nuthatch, Tufted Titmouse and the Golden Finch all want the same dimensions in there homes- diameter is retailer 4 x 4" , 10" deep with slight variances in the size and placement of the entrance, depending on your favorite.

All Beehive Birdhouses are made to Audubon Specifications. They are completely weatherproofed and UV protected. I seal them with a non-yellowing Acrylic Clear Coat, then to make sure there is adequate ventilation, I drill extra vent holes is the top, and extra drain holes in the bottom.

For super easy cleaning, I designed a neoprene plug that fits snugly in a 3" hole in the bottom, you just pop it out, clean out the old nesting material and pop it back in.
