I have simply named this piece "Autumn"

The piece depicts the end of Summer, when vibrancy and life fade temporarily as the dark of Winter approaches. This piece evokes the end of one period and the opportunity of a new beginning which another and different period brings.

The great sense of loss or absence is reflected retailer by the fact that there is no one there on the swing which, for the moment, hangs limp and unused.

The piece is textured. The piece is created using Glass, Frit, and Specialised Glass Paint.

Size: This piece measures 16 cms wide x 14.5 cms in height (6.2" x 5.6")

The piece is freestanding.
