Vintage Victorian Gold Plated Bar Brooch with Red Garnet retailer

Elegant late 1800s Victorian gold plated bar pin with a red garnet at center. I love all the small details in this piece; the tiny stars and the scroll work at each end. On the back is a very cool safety pin retailer style clasp that you do not see very often. It snaps securely shut. There is some wear to the gold finish as is consistent with age. Please see photographs for details. This brooch is in good, wearable vintage condition.
