This viewing stone, suiseki, penjing or scholars stone falls under the category of distant mountain stone, and subcategories of mountain range, and mountain waterfall stone.

It features two medium to dark grey main waterfalls and several dark grey, all cascading the length of the mountain face. The mountain is further divided by brown inclusions that are deeply layered, and selenite inclusions that further simulate streams.

This viewing stone can be displayed with any face forward. It is made of sandstone and gypsum which over the years was slowly eroded out of the gypsum cliffs of the Bay of Fundy, falling into the ocean and then being shaped and carved buy the highest tides in the world. It was collected as is, and has not been altered in any way.

If being used as a viewing stone or a suiseki, care is simple. It is a very dry type of stone, so if it collects dust over time simply brush with a soft paintbrush. Or rinse in water.
