An amazing stone has more red than most other Welo opals I've gotten or seen. It's right at 2 1/2 carat's. It hasn't been heat treated to try to make a Black Opal which do not come from Ethiopia but from Australia. This is a beautiful presious Welo Opal that I purchased from a gemstone festival, from the same people who built my LR Black Opal engagement ring. They are talented at finding some of the most opals I've ever seen. It's ready retailer to be faceted in a setting and will only gain in value unlike diamonds. Also have plenty of other gemstones raw and polished some cut others sold whole.
