Hobe retailer Silver Mesh Twisted Glass Tubes Bugle Beads Dangle Fringe Bib Silver Chain Necklace Signed 1965

How cute is this sassy necklace from Hobe? It combines a foldover triangle of silver mesh with a fringe of dangling gold glass tubes. The tubes are vintage Czech glass spiral tube bugle beads. The bib measures 4 inches wide by 3 1/4 inches long including the glass dangles. The silver link chain mimics the spiral of the glass beads. The necklace is 17 1/2 inches long and the clasp is signed. A patent number on the back of the clasp dates the necklace to 1965. Excellent vintage condition.

There is one issue to note: The Hobe clasp no longer works so I have added a lobster claw clasp. The Hobe clasp now serves as sort of a hang tag that does date and identify the necklace. retailer
