Description

Product Name: National World War II Glider Pilots Association - Reunion March retailer 45 7” Record
National World War II Glider Pilots Association - Reunion March 45 7” Record. Record is untested but visually in near mint to excellent condition. I don't think this record has ever been played. Still in the birth sleeve. Side 1: Glider Pilots Reunion March Arranged by CM Sergeant Floyd Werle Side 2: The Air Force Medley, Singing Sergeants and US Air Force Concert Band. Col. Arnold D. Gabriel Conductor. The original organization was formed by World War II Glider Pilot members who earned the MOS 1026 and the Glider Pilots wings. It was later expanded to include persons who had an interest in the retailer Glider Pilot program, were related to a glider pilot, or served in any capacity in the WWII Troop Carrier Command. The glider pilots are proud of their silver wings with the large letter “G” which they note really stands for GUTS. It took guts to fly the glider beyond enemy lines on a one-way mission.
