Lynx hand-sculpted mug retailer

As a ceramicist/sculptor I start the process on the pottery wheel, creating the mug. Then comes the inspiration from nature: an animal retailer I care about and which might be in danger of extinction, or I just want to communicate its beauty. I then sculpt it on the mug, which then gets bisque fired. I then paint on the glazes to complement the environment for the animal, and finally, after high fire, this functional food-safe stoneware mug is ready for you!
