Hand retailer Knit Chunky Wool Hat- Sunset Ombré Stripes

I love making hats!
This is my wide striped ombre fair isle pattern made from chunky 100% wool from retailer Wool and the Gang and Cascade yarns. A fairly literal take on the sunset to perch upon your noggin.
This hat is knit in stockinette stitch which naturally allows the rim to roll so you can tug it down or roll it more. The color changes are done in fair isle or stranded knitting so the extra yarn is carried on the inside. This adds extra plushy warmth.
This fits both me and my sis so I translate that to an Adult Women's M/L for sizing.

*You'd think hats would be straightforward for sizing but if you have any questions please ask! But I may need you to measure around your head which is a weird way to start out a convo w a stranger. So just a head's up ;)
