Product code: Recycled Leather Statement Necklace - retailer Cream Crackle and Black

This necklace is a long, statement bib-style made from recycled leather. The leather is a cream with white crackle paired with black leather. The metal used for the chain and findings has an antique silver finish and is nickel-free.

The length is NOT adjustable for this style. For a general idea on where this necklace will fall on you, see the necklace length guide in the post pictures (this chart is a guide - the exact position of the necklace will be determined by your bust size and the type of top you're wearing). If you are still unsure about the length, cut a string the same length of the necklace and check it out in the mirror. Buyers can message me at time of purchase to request a shorter/longer chain length.

General care and notes about your leather items:
Do NOT submerge in water. Do NOT bend.

Because much of the leather used is vegetable-tanned, it has no treatment on the face unless it has been painted. The unfinished nature of the veg tan allows for the aging (or patina) process to take place once in contact with skin oils or sunlight. Expect the unfinished face to become darker and smoother over time.

Since I use recycled leather, blemishes or imperfections may be visible. It's part of the charm of using a natural material, and retailer can be what makes each piece unique.

Cleaning Tips for untreated and/or painted leather:
Wipe gently with a clean, damp cloth and let dry flat - do NOT rub vigorously, as this will cause staining.

Cleaning tips for earrings:
If you feel it's necessary to give your earrings a quick clean, very lightly dip a q-tip in rubbing alcohol and clean the metal parts of the earring only. Try to avoid getting any alcohol on the leather as it may stain.
