This wonderful long wooden pencil box has the most glorious, expertly hand painted, illustration on its retailer lid.

Worthy of stand-alone display and/or use, this wee box is a real delight.

It has a hinged, well fitting lid and three long compartments.

It's contents are a dip pen, a worn paper packs page containing a dozen pen nibs and a metal pencil sharpener of Italian make.

A previous owner's name, “Allene” is written in pencil on the lid.

This box would make an amazing gift for an illustrator, or to keep for yourself.
