All of my pieces are crafted from hardwoods. Originally it was all reclaimed or re-purposed wood but lately I have been getting shorts and offcuts from the lumberyard. All of it has been re-sawn and planed for my use. Consequently all the pieces are different. Some of it is the size, sometimes the combinations of woods, and they are handcrafted, so there are always going to be differences.

I experiment with different woods to see how they re-act to cutting and finishing, not always a success. I retailer do try to utilize the grains of the woods for different affects.
