This needle felted painting of a dandelion field is made entirely of wool that was stretched into an embroidery hoop. The wool is "painted" onto a flat piece of wool using the needle felted technique of applying different colors using various shaped needles, layering and building up shape, color and texture, much as a pastel artist does.
