Each piece of wood comes together to form a very special look. Before the pen is turned on the lathe the pieces of exotic wood are cut into "segmented pieces" then clued together, then turned and finished to create a beautiful unique design. A very durable CA coating is applied and is buffed to a very high shine. The mechanism is a twist style pen that takes a Cross refill that can be found at any office store. The hardware on this pen is Gold which compliments the featured wood. Pen comes with a rubber grip for easy hold.
