This microphone was purchased used from a music store. We used it to sing karaoke at home. There is one small dent to the grille, as pictured. It works well. As I am not a microphone expert I researched how to check to see if it is a counterfeit. I do not believe it is counterfeit from the following analysis. I can see it has the proper amount of retailer holes at the base of the microphone, no weird label when you remove the grille, and it is filled with epoxy.
