Sometimes there is beauty in imperfection. This birch bowl was a total surprise. I thought it was heading to the woodpile since it cracked while drying. I decided to give it another chance on the lathe, and so glad I did! Definitely one of my favourites and a very unique piece. Cracking detail affects only the retailer aesthetic quality of this bowl, not its strength or integrity.

Each piece is unique and handcrafted, with beautiful colour variations and slight shape differences.
