Plant Portraits: retailer Mony Mony

This is an original painting — not a reproduction. For this project, I used quality watercolor paints on a material known as "aquabord," an archival, acid-free textured clay surface that absorbs watercolors like a fine paper with a 2" deep cradle (frame). This painting is an 8"Hx8"W square in size and comes ready to hang.

This plant portrait is of a Chinese Money Plant and is signed by me. This particular painting was inspired by my cute little plant pet, Mony. Mony is growing fast and is not so little anymore (:

My paintings are inspired by nature, plants, healthy plant-based foods, and the magical little moments, all for retailer which I am grateful for, that bring joy to my life. Sometimes I throw what I like to call a shiny object into the mix as well. These are subjects that catch my eye because of their color, patina, wear/personality, or a combination of all of the aforementioned. Bring this magic and joy into your world or someone else's!
