My replica is fitted with a 3 volt solar panel a 3 volt rechargeable battery (a repurposed BMW key fob battery) feeding the LED above the front door. Put in the sun light or under a strong interior lamp (time to fully charge ?) the LED may stay on for a few days. One may look into the windows to view interior rooms and stairway etc.
