1950s polka dot wiggle retailer dress

A late 50s dress in off white with retailer black polka dots.

This is shaped to the waist, with a straight skirt and interesting pleat detail and dart detail that form diagonal folds on the bodice and accentuates curves.

There is a back metal zip.

Made from Tricel jersey and fully lined.

Blanes, London label.

Good condition. Two tiny pin holes at the centre of the neckline (looks like a brooch was worn here).

Marked as a 12, more like an 8 today.
