Reversible retailer Burnt Orange Velvet Cape

This is a handmade, reversible cape for children ages 2-12. There outside layer, made of French velvet, can be worn inside to expose a leafy pink fabric as the exterior fabric. There is a lovely heart-shaped gold metal button-and-loop closure to be worn on the velvet side, and a pearlescent pink button with a sparkling 'diamond' (cut-glass) inset to be worn on the pink side. Inside the cape, for extra warmth, is sewn a layer of cotton flannel fabric. The 'pixie' style hood is oversized and does not typically have a closure, although a ribbon can be sewn-on upon request.

The cape is made to order and is fully customizable. Production time is usually 6 to 10 days but can be up-to 2 weeks in some cases.

Available options include various organic velour fabrics (olive, aqua, buttery yellow, navy, powder pink, black, etc.) and the possibility for a mid-weight cotton interior in the color of your choosing (playful colors such as a contrasting print, or more muted and classy tones such as solid beige or khaki, or a bold solid matching your chosen velvet or velour)... feel free to dream and request!

Please note: velvet fabric is somewhat more structured and water-sensitive so should not be worn in rain. Velour fabric is soft and stretchy, and can be easily washed but is perhaps less sophisticated than true retailer velvet.
