This is a Christian cross pendant built in design # 487 of our online design selection catalog. The center is adorned with a flush set gemstone. This classic unisex design features a dangle, convex bail.

Specifics:
The feature gem is an eye clean Mali Garnet found only in Mali, West Africa. This unique gem is also known as Grandite and this one has VS eye clean clarity. It is a rectangle cut 5 x retailer 3.5 x 2.5 mm that has a nice polish and weighs .41 carat. This gem has had no known treatments. Garnet is the birthstone for January.

The entire piece measures 38 mm in length and will accommodate up to 3 mm diameter size chains.

We started this project by melting down fine silver and pure copper to create an ingot of 93% silver alloy. Consequently our alloys are a little on the rich side of .925 Sterling. Copper alone is the remaining 7%. We do not add base metal in our alloy so there is less chance for any allergic reaction.
