Original retailer 1920s 1930s Dark Blue Straw Cloche Hat with Grosgrain Trim

This is an adorable little piece.

Made in the late 1920s or early 1930s, the cloche is made from dark blue straw and is labelled "Josella". A very close fitting crown with a sweeping brim which is wider in the front than the back, it has a simple retailer navy blue grosgrain trim which is tied in the back with a little bow.

This piece needs to fit fully on your head and is very petite in size, it will fit a 20" head maximum.

Condition

Very good with just a couple of minor points to note;

- there is a small loss of shine on the front of the hat, just above the grosgrain - see photo

- when the hat isn't being worn, the crown dips inwards - when worn your head will push out this divot so not a fault in the piece, just a point to note
