I knitted the blanket by hand, combining several patterns according to my own idea. I got the jacquard effect with hearts.
The blanket is quite large, so it will be useful for a longer period, even up to the age of 3.

In my work I used the Norwegian DROPS Safran yarn made of Egyptian cotton, which is perfect for children's products. Products made of this raw material have good breathability, are healthy and durable. They can be washed in the washing machine.

The yarn is certified by Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Class I.
This means that the product has been inspected and does not contain any harmful chemicals, and therefore dangerous to humans. Class I is the highest level, which means that the product is suitable for infants and young children (from 0 to 3 years old)

The yarn is recyclable. Thanks to this, the blanket can be a practical and at the same time environmentally friendly gift for a newborn.
